Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and stays at Chapel Bank House, operated by Chapel House Holidays Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your reservation.

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be made by persons aged 18 or over.
A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the booking partner used.
Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us or our booking partner.
Final balances must be paid by the date specified during the booking process.

3. Pricing

Prices for Chapel Bank House are displayed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation terms depend on the booking channel used. Please refer to the cancellation policy provided during booking. In general:

Cancellations made within the permitted timeframe may receive a refund, minus any applicable fees.
Late cancellations or no‑shows may result in loss of payment.
If we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

5. Check‑In & Check‑Out

Check‑in: from 4:00pm unless otherwise agreed.
Check‑out: by 09:30am.
Late departures may incur additional charges.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

Keep Chapel Bank House, its contents, and outdoor areas in good condition.
Report any damage or issues as soon as possible.
Use the property only for lawful purposes and not engage in disruptive behaviour.
Ensure the number of guests does not exceed the booking allowance.

7. Damage & Security Deposits

A security deposit may be required depending on the booking channel. Any damage, breakages, or excessive cleaning costs may be deducted from this deposit or invoiced separately.

8. Pets

Pets are only permitted if explicitly stated during booking. Additional fees or conditions may apply.

9. Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside Chapel Bank House. Outdoor smoking must be done responsibly and without causing damage or nuisance.

10. Liability

Chapel House Holidays Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to guests, their belongings, or vehicles, except where required by UK law. Guests should ensure they have suitable travel insurance.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to provide accommodation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or utility outages.

12. Complaints

If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the matter.

13. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
